Boyish Ways

So our little Jack has become a climber.  A new experience for me since Aidan was content to play safely on the ground.  His skills are improving, too.  He may at one time have only mastered this:

... but soon figured that if he threw his whole body on top of something, he could wiggle onto this: (At least he's ON it and not IN it... right?)

AND THIS: (That is the face of satisfaction)

Soon chairs became easy:

... but quickly realized they were only step stools to something better, leaving us with no other option than to turn the chairs backwards:

His boyish ways are  all about independency, testing the limits, and exploring.  This fun stage is  BUSY and energetic :)

I totally stole your idea of turning around the chairs. So smart!

Tonight Joseph crawled from a barstool over the counter and into the kitchen sink where I found him tasting the scrub brush. Yummy.

Life becomes so much more busy when they can move and climb. At least he is so cute:)

That look of his is priceless. I love the one at the computer. What a cute kid. You can tell he knows he really accomplished something and is proud of it.
